Ongoing projects of HeNN in Nepal

As in the previous year, Help Nepal Network has two long-term projects going on: 1. Help Nepal Networks Children’s Home, which has been established and operated since 2014. This Children’s home was built through the cooperation of several donors and on the land belonging to Panchakanya Basic School, a local public school in Dhulikhel, Kavrepalanchowk. Currently, 23 children studying from kindergarten to grade 10 have got the shelter. Another long-term project is Help Nepal Health Post, which was built in Murma village in Mugu in 2004. Health Post is run by the Everest marathon fund, various organizations, and individuals. The health post is supervised by the village committee who also submit reports regularly both to the government as well as Help Nepal Network. The Health Post is providing good health services to the local community and doing well.

When it is about short-term projects, Help Nepal Network is supporting mainly projects that are related to Health, Education, and Disaster reliefs. Lately, The library at Shree Sipatinghare Sanskrit Secondary School, supported by HeNN is now ready. HeNN has supported Rajkuleshowr School which was built with new infrastructures such as a Hi-Tech classroom, teacher training, and integration of new technologies in the classroom and in teaching, making the School as one of HeNN’s model school.

Help Nepal Network donated school bags to 253 students of Shree Kedar Secondary School in Doti in January 2024 and 300 students of Shree Nepal Rastriya Basic School in Parsa in June 2024. Similarly, Help Nepal Network handed over School uniform to 15 students from Kalinchowk Madhyamik Vidhyalaya in Dolakha District.
